It's official.  I am a color-binger.  I get on a color kick and I can't stop.  A few weeks ago it was white and leopard.  There was that red phase back in January.  I'll go weeks wearing only black and white ensembles.  Now I guess it's shades of green, mint in particular.

Winter Beach Attire

I live an hour away from the number one beach in the country.  Even on a cold day, its gorg.  This is my take on winter beach attire in Florida.

The thing is, tweed can look really matronly.  Trust Rachel Zoe to shave 15 years off the age-appropriateness of this jacket by doing it in "black gold."  And, if a hot pink accessory (lips and nails included) and some exposed chest action doesn't do the trick, then I don't know what will.

Ever notice how a black and denim outfit always looks put-together? Why is that? I have no idea, all I know is that I'm literally wearing a t-shirt and some holey-ass jeans out to dinner here on a Saturday night and no one threw me out of the restaurant for being inappropriately dressed.  Toeing that line all the time.

I recently visited my younger sister in L.A. and forced asked her to take these pics since my trusty other half wasn't with me.  Can I just say, if ever there were a more perfect place to own a pair of leather pants, I don't know it.  L.A. weather is just cool enough during the day, and chilly enough at night to make them appropriate all day long (not that it stops me from wearing them here in Florida anyway, just an observation).
