first world problems

Welp, I've joined the force of people who work from home.  That's right - I'm now one of those people you hate because you see them jogging and shopping and getting Starbucks during the weekday while you frantically bust your ass to make it back to work after a 1 hour lunch (probably still chewing that last bite).  The coffee shops of Los Angeles that offer free wifi are my office at least 50% of the time.  The rest of the time I'm working in my PJs at home.  I promise not to post my outfit on those days.

This is all great, except (here come the First World Problems): I have nothing to wear every day.   Ordinarily I would have put a blazer on over this dress and probably worn black pumps.  I spent years trying to make my work wardrobe double in my personal life, because suits and blouses and shit are expensive, and I'm all about cost per wear.  I had it down to a science and then I started this blog with my scientist self, because I thought other people would want to get in on my rule of three formula and other such gems.

And now, I have the reverse problem - what do blouses and pumps and pencil skirts and trousers and shift dresses do when I'm not working in an office environment? I went from having two casual days a week - that's right, Saturday and Sunday - to seven.  I'm OUT OF CLOTHES, guys.  I have closets full of shit and I have nothing to wear most of the time.  And I for damn sure don't have the time or inclination to start dressing up just to take pics for this blog.  My to-do list is long enough.

I need to figure this out.  I think I need some new clothes to go with this new life.
