If you want to try print mixing, black and white is probably the easiest way to go. I don't think you can go wrong as long as you stay in the same color family. Also, it's a neutral color combination, which means I can wear these pants (which are a great material and on sale!) or this striped blouse (seriously? a steal ) with any pop of color. Pick up a few black and white pieces, and you'll get tons of longevity out of them. Happy Memorial Day weekend!
