I think I was subconsciously rebelling by wearing this to a Christmas party. Perhaps, deep down, I knew that everyone around me was guaranteed to be in some gold silver sparkly sequin red green something or other, and around this time of the year I'm pretty much over the whole holiday thing. It's exhausting. It looks like my psyche was like "fuck Christmas, wear this alien outfit." Me and my psyche REALLY need to work on playing along in 2014.
