On this particular day, I had approximately 5 minutes to get ready for a baby shower due to my own calendaring eff up. I was an hour late. So I reached for my most recent go-to combo and then literally threw on some distracting daytime bling. I was hoping that between the purse, the red shoes, and the sweatshirt, no one would notice my hasty hair and makeup job.
